About the artwork

This linoprint is a vibrant exploration of perception. The bold red and blue blocks divide the portrait, suggesting dual nature or contrasting perspectives. The quote, “I color the good I see. Everyone around me has a hue. Even you,” emphasizes how each individual perceives the world in their own unique way, adding their personal hue to the bigger picture.

Adarsh

Portrait Artist, Print Artist, Sculptor, Performer

Adarsh, a curious 29-year-old autistic artist at Sense Kaleidoscopes, radiates discipline and joy. Despite navigating severe seizures and challenges in communication and regulation, he approaches his craft with deep commitment. Self-taught in 12 languages and fascinated by watches, films, and radio, Adarsh merges his many passions into his art. Rejected by many schools, he found belonging at SK, where his creativity thrives. His works—sculpture, print, theatre, and more—have been showcased at the Kochi Biennale and Outsider Art Fair in Paris. Adarsh’s story is one of perseverance, humour, and growth.
